Ajen A. Lucassen on tour, now that's a rare site! Three years ago he did it with Star-One (and we where there to capture it on tape and it was released on DVD), this time with Stream of Passion. Where the recording of Star-One was unplanned and somewhat improvised, this time Arjen wanted to do it right!
Seven HD camera's where brought in to capture all the excitement on stage and it became a night to remember. While editing the footage the power and energy litterally jumped off our screens. This DVD captures one of the most entertaining live shows we've ever seen in a spectacular way.

And despite the fast cutting from picture to picture, it never feels like I'm watching MTV. I don't know how many cameras director Mirko Pelgrom & Angelique Wassink of D'iMages have set up for this recording, but the editing is nevertheless perfect visually speaking. The change from Marcela to Arjen to Lori to Johan... you know the drill, is fluent and coherent.
One detail that must be mentioned is the presentation of each track on the DVD. The cover of each album's track is mosaicked together, and the name of the track appears via solarwinds before they fade out after some 10 seconds.
